VAWG in Burundi: Evidence Review
Women in Burundi face extremely high rates of violence, including physical and sexual violence (by any perpetrator) and intimate partner violence. The prevalence of lifetime and past 12 month sexual and/ or physical IPV is higher in Burundi than global and regional estimates.
