Alice Kerr-Wilson

Alice Kerr-Wilson is a Gender Specialist and Team Leader with 20 years’ of experience working on gender equality and women and girls’ rights, with a particular focus on the prevention of violence against women and girls. Together with Tina Musuya, she is currently the co-lead of the What Works 2 Learning Partnerships Team, managing a team of technical advisers from Africa, Asia and the Middle East to provide high-quality support to the programme’s global projects. She has extensive experience of working with UK FCDO and has been an advisor on three of its flagship global funds. She has also undertaken assignments for Danida, UN Women and UNFPA and several INGOs and has worked closely with academics as well as the private sector. She has worked in 16 different countries and has deep knowledge of Nepal and the South Asian region. Alice is a solution-oriented leader, with strong relational and communication skills. She aspires to create collaborative spaces where team members can flourish and share different views, as well as have fun. Alice is always interested in learning more languages and developing her intercultural communication skills and loves being outdoors.
