Capacity Strengthening Platform

Welcome to the What Works Capacity Strengthening Platform—a growing hub of resources designed to support researchers, implementing partners, and the broader community working to end violence against women and girls.

The What Works Programme has developed a range of interactive online courses and resources to strengthen colleagues' capacity in a variety of technical areas, with an emphasis on evidence generation. The course topics covered include:

• Ethical principles of GBV research

• Collecting and analysing both quantitative and qualitative data

• A deep dive into impact evaluations, and

• Systematic reviews

Courses are self-paced, freely available, and include a curated mix of videos, documents, knowledge checks, and other resources. Though designed with researchers in mind, we believe these resources will be valuable to implementers and others working to advance evidence-based approaches. This is a living platform, and we will continue to add capacity strengthening materials that responds to colleagues' needs.
